Biodynamic Gardening Workshop

Sunday May 14th 1pm at Pinehaven Community Hall

Following the very positive feedback from the March soil workshop, Jim O’Gorman, an organic grower from Kakanui near Oamaru, returns in May to present another gardening workshop.

This time, Jim will be talking about and demonstrating methods for seed raising and composting. Composting is a relatively simple process that remains a mystery to many. Jim will be making a compost heap in the hall grounds.

He will also be making "compost tea". This brew of beneficial organisms (bacterial and fungal) is sprayed on the garden to promote healthy soil and plants.

For more information check out http://www.soilfoodweb.com

The cost is $40 per person, and you will go home with 10 litres of compost tea to immediately apply to your garden.
