PPA Supports Option 1 in Proposed Changes to Local Councils

At a recent committee meeting it was unanimously agreed that the members of the PPA committee support retention of the existing structures with improved sharing of utilities and services between the Hutt Valley Councils. This is the opinion of the PPA committee only and is not based on any polling of Pinehaven Residents.

Held on Wednesday, 24 October 2012 at the Community Hall, Forest Road, Pinehaven.

The following were elected to serve on the PPA committee for 2013:

President: David Brown

Vice-President: Chris Cosslett

Secretary: Max Christensen

Treasurer: Ella Kahu

Committee Members:

Dominic Baron, Rita Bota, Pat Christianson, Matt Conder, Grant Crawford, Owen Johnson, Jane Mehaffey, Mike Rickard.

Save the Flyer Bus Service

I have added the petition to save the Upper Hutt Airport Flyer bus service. This petition will handed to the council 14th Dec 2012 so sign up while you can.

The Save the Flyer Survey has closed

Pinehaven Weather

I have set up a weather station. The data from it can be found here.

If your Interested in the technical details here they are.

There are also historical graphs, but the station has only been going fro a few days so it doesn’t go back very far, but it has caught the recent hot weather.
